Two More Rolls

Once again, a Sunday finds me at Sandia's pool.

I really love the accidental juxtapositions that happen with half-frame photography. Back when I was sixteen, I had big dreams for a half-frame camera my dad gave me. Unfortunately, it refused to take any pictures for me. Now I have the Diana Mini and I'm so impressed with the pictures it takes. Most of the time I forget to adjust the focus on it, but to me, it doesn't even matter if the pics are out of focus. This is the epitome of non-fussy, shoot-from-the-hip, document-life-and-don't-worry-about-it photography.



Here's Donni, here's Heather. Donni is in law enforcement, and she also has this amazing piece on her back.

Ran into my cousin and her man while I was out, she's the one on the right.

Elaine took this very flattering picture of me haha.

Also, I went to go see Rihanna the other day. Kesha opened. It's true what they say; Kesha really can't sing and when she's not actually dancing, she's stumbling around doing a great impersonation og being drunk. Kesha, man. Maybe it's just because I saw this video and found it hilarious, but either way I couldn't get it out of my head. Tequila and glitter. Oh man.

And as for Rihanna, holy @)#@($* those outfits!

An amazing number of little girls dressed as Kesha with crimped, dirty hair and fascinating clothing choices dotted the audience. In fact, even the girls not dressed as celebrities had some pretty remarkable clothes on. See this girls' pants:

Note how the girl in the right frame has a $20 tucked into her blouse.

Remember that fashion show I shot like ten ages ago? Well, the guy in red and his buddy there, they were in charge of hair for that show. Except they both had their hair done up white-grey back then as if they were on America's Next Top Supermodel or so. Funny I saw them.

I'm glad you started posting these on here again, and not just on Flickr, cuz I wanted to leave a comment and tell you a couple things:

First of all, it was rad to run into you and your lady at the library.

Secondly, a lot of the pics you've been posting lately have been rad to the max. And they've been so foreign (Sandia Pool! Rihanna concert! Seattle!) that it makes you seem like a total jet-setter. Which isn't a bad thing.

Third, we should definitely do lunch, maybe on Monday, so we can peep your show. Maybe a fourway affair, unless Robo's off work?

Last, I think I'm heading down to the Launch tonight for Rob's show. You gonna make it?

Monday works awesome possum- let's try to get Robot in on it too. The only thing is, my phone's broken so we'll have to set this up the old fashioned way (purely by Internet, that is).
