This entry focuses on the portraits, the next one will be .... non-portraits. I've been listening to a lot of music sent to me by a friend of mine, Meghann. In a song called "La Familia", Mirah asks, "If we sleep together would you be my friend forever? If we sleep together will it make it any better?"
Musical side note, I always guiltily loved that song "Brick" but now I suffocate in it.
Here's Cara, a waitress I met while my dad and his cousin were having a pie-eating contest. I love her expression, it's so wide-open.

My friend Annie had a divorce party- wonderful. Annie's girlfriend Jena wore her hair down for the first time in living memory so thank the lord everyone had their camerals to document it.

They're living in a new place.

There is such a thing as $2 Tuesdays at a place near my house, so I met Brandon over there and we chilled on the patio and had a few pale ales. He's a smoker and he's working for a cancer research center, in case you're wondering what sort of guy he is. This makes me laugh. Rob if you see this, I wish you'd come with me this Tuesday.

When I worked at Blue Rose, they put me under one day when I came in a few minutes early and re-engineered my eyes to accept only high key, bright images. Here's me trying to protest against that brain washing. It's Nidia, she hates having her picture taken.
I've been spending a lot of time with Jamie and Jamie's kids, mostly in a babysitting capacity (whereby I babysit the kids, not Jamie). I'll be there this Friday night, absorbing season 2 of True Blood. She likes to have me curl her hair sometimes, which is fun. I made her stand in the bathtub so I could take this picture.

Also, I just received a postcard that someone sent me in February.
My tree seems to be doing all right but it isn't blooming anymore.
