Seattle Firsties

You wanna know what I'm doing in Seattle! Because you do, that's why.

For Seattlites, this 8-car stop-motion style description of a rolling car is old news. For me, new news! So I subject you to it.
The flight in was gorgeous. Guess what mountain range this is :)

The is the view from where I'm staying.

It's been really sunny for my visit. Seems like golden hour lasts like threeeeeee hours here.

Went the the Olympic Sculpture Park like a good tourist. I shot this through one of the dots of a walkway and got an interesting double-exposure type result.

This tree is made of metal. After recently doing lots of drawing type studies of branching things (arteries, veins) I appreciate this much more.

Calder's Eagle

This morning, I saw this guy.

I drank an extra stout at Pike Place Brewery. It was lovely! All the tables had tulips, which seems to be a popular flower here.

I almost interrupted a homeless guy's sleep in order to snap this one off:

Please God next time a tiled wall needs some repair, let them do it in a color which has nothing to do with the original tile color.

Hopefully I get a bit better at taking pictures of the residents here before I go.
