Proud In The Big Picture

Well guys, I told my dad I'm gay since I guess this is true. Now I have to tell my mom. We had a fight about whether or not children should be allowed to be a parade about gay pride. I think they should, but what do I know. I painted little rainbows on my fingernails and did my eyeshadow in rainbows.

And the picture of this little girl was the best one I took that day, so I'm glad she was there.



Man it was so windy. My eyeballs were permanently textured by all the sand particles flying around. (I'm the only NM resident who doesn't believe in sunglasses). (Well, I just lose them.) The girl on the right had colored her backpack all intricate, and the girl on the left had way cool sunglasses but the wind didn't want me to capture them I guess.



Oh, and I shot all these at ISO 1000. Every time I do that I say I've learned my lesson about checking my ISO setting, but I never do. :( There were so many wonderful tattoos I didn't even know what to do with my life.



I wish I wouldn't care what the world thinks of me and if it rejects me. But I do care.





I went to high school with this girl, her name's Grace and her mom owns a costume shop so they always get involved with this parade.
